If you want to to be an Aupair and ask the currently AuPair the first questions...
So I'm now on the point where my host family are searching for the new AuPair!
My HostMum is always looking first at the photos und than at the letter the AuPair wrote. After this she is emailing them about a Skype date. When the Skype date went well (ask about the kids) she give the AuPair my email address so that she could asked me some questions.
Sooooo what you should do is..... do not asked about: the area their live, their accommodation, the car situation, their house etc. DOOOO asked about: the kids!!! the HostParents!! and the family in whole!!
Everything else you should asked in the second Email when you have all your answers about their live!
Because in our case, I told my host parents everything what the AuPair asked me in the e-mail. So if you only asked about.. where you can go to do some partying or if you have your own car or what ever you thing is the most important thing it's not!
It is better for YOU if you can get along with the HostFamily instead of having a car all the time or some shit like that.
I knew a few AuPairs who have a really big and expensive houses and really lit cars who are fun to drive with !!!!but!!!! It's not worth it if you're having 45 hours in the week a horrible time with you host family and especially with your HostKids.
For example we have only two cars so usually I share the GMC with my HostMum and sometimes when I need a car, but my HostParents want to drive with the GMC to go somewhere with the kids, I can take the Audi from my HostDad. So easy!
That is my advice!!
